What Is the Ohio CIP Initiative?
The Ohio CIP Initiative aims to increase personal and family strengthening skills among offenders, restored citizens, and affected youth to support a successful transition back to family and community. The initiative began in 2015 by strategically building the re-entry workforce capacity through a series of trainings that certified re-entry professionals in an evidence-based prevention intervention (EBPI).
The evidence-based prevention program is being implemented in various community settings across the state, such as nonprofit organizations, county jails, and faith-based organizations. The initiative also has a unique partnership with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) that continues to grow.
We help you put lasting change into practice by giving you access to the training and resources you need.
