About Us

Our History

The Ohio CIP Initiative is a statewide collaborative effort that began in 2015 with funding from OhioMHAS under Governor Kasich. The purpose of this initiative is to provide evidence-based interventions in support of healthy family reintegration among reentry systems across Ohio.

Our Valued Partners

The Ohio CIP Initiative is a statewide collaborative effort that is supported through an innovative partnership between the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS), Mansfield UMADAOP, UMADAOP of Dayton, SheRay’s and Associates, LLC, and Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service (GVS).

Programming within the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is provided by four UMADAOP locations.  The ODRC provides additional support and resources that has allowed the programming to expand into ten different ODRC locations.

Executive Committee

Our CIP Executive Committee is composed of representatives from SheRays, OhioMHAS, Mansfield UMADAOP, and GVS. These organizations provide leadership, strategic planning, collaboration between state and local agencies, implementation, evaluation, and technical support for the initiative.  This team has meet weekly since 2016.
